Rock On Tommy: An Evening with Tommy Cannon
Wednesday, 23 September 2026, doors 7:00 PM
Tickets from £25 + booking fee
There are nights out, and then there are the nights you tell your mates about for years.
For anyone who grew up on Saturday night telly, fish and chips on your lap, the whole family piled onto the sofa, that famous "Rock On, Tommy!" ringing out at the end of every sketch, this one's going to land somewhere special.
Tommy Cannon, one half of the legendary Cannon and Ball, is bringing his brand new show Rock On, Tommy to The Hart. It's an evening of laughter, mischief and memories with a genuine British entertainment icon, the man who, alongside the late Bobby Ball, kept millions of us in stitches for the best part of a decade.
This isn't a tribute. This isn't a rerun. It's Tommy, in the room with us, telling the stories himself.
The evening will be introduced by stand-up comedian Ang Northam, warming the room up before Tommy takes to the stage.
About the show
Rock On, Tommy is a warm, funny, off the cuff variety night packed with everything you'd hope for and a few things you won't see coming:
• Rare clips and behind the scenes footage from the Cannon and Ball years • Incredible stories from a 50 plus year career, from working men's clubs to ITV prime time • A proper audience Q&A, bring your questions, your heckles, and your memories • Plenty of laughter, the odd lump in the throat, and that unmistakable Tommy charm
It's part stand up, part chat show, and 100% the kind of evening that reminds you why live entertainment beats anything on a screen.
About Tommy Cannon
A national treasure, plain and simple.
Tommy first stepped onto a television stage in 1968 on Opportunity Knocks, and the rest, as they say, is British comedy history. As the straight man to Bobby Ball, he became one half of one of the most loved double acts this country has ever produced, headlining The Cannon and Ball Show on Saturday nights, packing out theatres up and down the UK, and starring in the cult classic film The Boys in Blue.
But Tommy's far more than a comic. He's an actor (you'll have spotted him in Not Going Out and Emmerdale), a guest favourite on everything from The Kenny Everett Television Show to Shooting Stars, and perhaps least appreciated of all, a genuinely lovely singer. Most recently, he was given a hero's welcome by Robbie Williams at a sell out Manchester concert.
Now he's hitting the road on his own terms, and we're delighted he's stopping off in Redditch.
Why this one's special
Redditch Revival is built on shared memories, the songs, the laughs, the Saturday nights that shaped us. Tommy Cannon is woven into the fabric of that story for an entire generation. This is one of those nights to invite your mum and dad to. Or your kids, so they finally get what you've been banging on about all these years.
Expect a room full of grins, a few proper belly laughs, and the rare warmth of being in the company of a true British original.
Tickets won't hang around. This one is going to sell.
